Individual Memberships

Regular Scholastic Membership
 (Age 12 and Under)

COST: 1 Year- $17.00 | 2 Years- $30.00 

  • The right to earn a chess rating in the official national rating system
  • Online access to Chess Life & Chess Life for Kids

Regular Scholastic members must be 12 years old or under at expiration, whether paying for one year or multiple years.

Premium Scholastic Membership
(Age 12 and Under)

COST:  1 Year- $25.00 | 2 Years- $45.00 

  • The right to earn a chess rating in the official national rating system
  • Online access to Chess Life & Chess Life Kids
  • 6 issues per year of Chess Life Kids

Premium Scholastic members must be 12 years old or under at expiration, whether paying for one year or multiple years.

Regular Youth Membership
(Age 15 and Under)

COST: 1 Year- $22.00 | 2 Years- $40.00 

  • The right to earn a chess rating in the official national rating system
  • Online access to Chess Life & Chess Life for Kids

Regular Youth members must be 15 years old or under at expiration, whether paying for one year or multiple years.

Premium Youth Membership

Family Membership Plan #1

COST: $80 - 1 Year

  • Subscription to printed Chess Life (12 issues)
  • Participation in rated play
  • Each Member eligible for an individual rating
  • Families with a Member under 14 will also receive printed Chess Life for Kids (6 issues)

Requirements: Primary Family Member under or over age 25

Family Membership Plan #2

COST: $50 - 1 Year

  • Subscription to printed Chess Life (12 issues)
  • Participation in rated play
  • Each Member eligible for an individual rating
  • Families with a Member under 14 will also receive printed Chess Life for Kids (6 issues)

Requirements: All Members are under age 25

Advanced Chess Tournament Entries

Register Online and your entry will appear automatically on our Advanced entries page! Players will see in advance which players are competing in a specific tournament & the schools they are from.  

Chess Programs

Monthly Chess Tournaments

Tournaments at Bryant Park are divided into 7 sections based upon age and strength.  Players can play "up" into any section.  The top section includes Adults and offers Cash prizes.  Trophies, plaques and medals to all others.

Summer Chess Camps
