Refunds & Cancellations

Celebrating over 25 years of developing after school chess programs in the greater NY area.

If for any reason you need to cancel your tournament registration after paying the entry fee:

 

  1. You can have a full credit towards any future tournament.
  2. Or, you can have a refund minus $5 registration fee for each player registered.

Cancellations must be received by email before 9:00am the day of the event. Any cancellations after 9:00am or no shows will not be credited.
To use your credit, simply email Info@TriStateChess.com with all of your registration information the next time you want to play in one of our tournaments.

Advanced Chess Tournament Entries

Register Online and your entry will appear automatically on our Advanced entries page! Players will see in advance which players are competing in a specific tournament & the schools they are from.  

Chess Programs

After School Programs

Tri-State Chess will provide all of the chess equipment; this includes chess boards, sets & the demonstration boards the instructors use.

Monthly Chess Tournaments

Tournaments are divided into 7 sections based upon age and strength.  Players can play "up" into any section.  The top section includes Adults and offers Cash prizes.  Trophies, plaques and medals to all others.

Summer Chess Camps

Private Chess Lessons

One of the best ways to improve your game is to bring the score of your tournament games to your chess coach & have them analyze the game with you.
