Group Zoom Classes

We are now offering group classes virtually on ZOOM!

Groups of only 10 students maximum to facilitate personalized focus and attention on your young and budding chess player.
Class time is divided into instruction, training exercises and supervised play.
10 week semesters for $249.

Now in our 34th year, Tri-State Chess has been creating chess teams and teaching after school and curricular chess programs in the Greater NY area since January 1991!

Beginner Classes – Tuesdays
January 13, 20, 27 – February 3, 10, 17, 24 – March 3, 10, 17

Beginner Classes: For all grades and for complete beginners. Includes students who don’t know how to move the pieces and those that only know how to move the pieces and nothing else.

Grades 1-3: 6:00pm – 7:00pm

Intermediate/Advanced Classes – Wednesdays
January 14, 21, 28 – February 4, 11, 18, 25 – March 4, 11, 18
Intermediate/Advanced classes: Students must know what checkmate means and know how to move all the pieces. Tournament players welcome rated below 800.

- Grades 1-3 – 6:00-7:00pm
- Grades 4+ – 7:00pm-8:00pm (Rated 900-1300)
